For us, I spotted this book at the perfect time. My son recently needed to explain Diwali to his school friends here. Even though, reading level wise, he has outgrown this book but its a book that comes in very handy when you are looking to explain Diwali to kids from different countries. We had a great time reading this story together.
Packed with beautiful illustrations and targeted towards readers below 6 years, this one would make a wonderful festival gift too. Do give it a try and let us know if you liked it.
In case you’re looking for a read-aloud version of this book, you may listen to it here. There are many other versions of it available. It’s one of the favorite books in international kindergartens in many countries.
